Sharp devises camera that can take photos facing sun

OSAKA, Japan - A new camera developed by Sharp Corp. is capable of taking clear photos even when pointed at a bright light source (bottom) in contrast with the same image taken by a conventional digital camera (top). Sharp announced on April 14 that it has jointly developed the small, industrial-use camera with the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart of Germany. (Kyodo)
