Mt. Fuji puts up umbrella
TOKYO, Japan - Mt. Fuji is seen from Tokyo covered by an umbrella-shaped cloud on April 19. Weathermen say that this kind of cloud is formed on a warm spring day when air containing lot of moisture climbs along the mountain slope. Meteorological data indicate that when the country's highest peak puts on an umbrella cloud, the weather takes a turn for the worse. (Kyodo)
