Tulip festival begins in Tonami
TONAMI, Japan - Tourists take a stroll in a park in Tonami, Toyama Prefecture, where some one million tulips have been planted, on April 23 in the rain. The tulip festival began in the city for a 13-day run. Some 300,000 people are expected to visit the festival. (Kyodo)
