U.S. forces use civilian airport in Okinawa, amid protest
MIYAKOJIMA, Japan - A U.S. Marines tanker plane lands for refueling at a civilian airport on Miyakojima Island, Okinawa Prefecture, on April 26, while on its way to the Philippines, amid a local protest. The tanker plane and six helicopters left Miyako airport for a joint drill with Philippine forces after staying about two hours. (Kyodo)
