Musashimaru out of summer sumo

TOKYO, Japan - Samoan-born grand champion Musashimaru (file photo) will miss the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament starting May 11 after failing to fully recover from a wrist injury, Musashigawa, the master of the yokozuna's sumo stable, confirmed on May 6. Musashimaru, 32, has been out of action since November, when he damaged ligaments in his wrist. He underwent surgery later. (Kyodo)
