(1)New Ehime Maru sets sail for training off Hawaii
MATSUYAMA, Japan - Uwajima Fisheries High School students bid farewell to well-wishers at Uwajima port in Ehime Prefecture on May 7 as a newly built fisheries training ship, the Ehime Maru, leaves for Hawaii on a maiden trip. The old Ehime Maru sank off Hawaii in February 2001 after colliding with a U.S. submarine. (Kyodo)
