Aomori Gov. Kimura submits resignation

AOMORI, Japan - Aomori Gov. Morio Kimura fields questions from reporters as he arrives at the Aomori prefectural office May 16. Kimura, 65, submitted a letter of resignation to the prefectural assembly chief the previous day in the face of a vote of no-confidence over a media report of ''an adulterous sexual harassment scandal'' involving the governor.
