Koreans sue Japan over forced labor in Siberia
TOKYO, Japan - Former Korean soldiers in the Imperial Japanese Army and their kin hold a rally in Tokyo on June 12 before suing the Japanese government to seek compensation for unpaid wages for forced labor in Siberia after World War II. After the rally, a total of 164 former soldiers and bereaved relatives from South Korea filed the suit with the Tokyo District Court. (Kyodo)
