SHIOGAMA, Japan - Mick Dawson, a British man who was attempting to row solo from Japan to the United States, arrives at Shiogama port in Miyagi Prefecture on June 16. Dawson was rescued the previous day after making a distress call off Miyagi because of a broken rudder. (Kyodo)
