Female playwright Kishida dies at 57
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken in 1987 shows playwright and director Rio Kishida who died of colon cancer at a hospital in Okaya, Nagano Prefecture on June 28, aged 57. Kishida started her career as a playwright with an experimental theater company called ''Tenjo Sajiki'' formed in 1967 by the late Japanese poet Shuji Terayama. (Kyodo)
