Mugen uses funds to buy land for Honda memorial hall
SAITAMA, Japan - Racing car engine maker Mugen Co., which has been accused of evading corporate tax on 2.84 billion yen of income, spent at least 600 million yen of hidden income to acquire property in Tokyo (shown in photo) on which to build a memorial hall in honor of the late Honda founder Soichiro Honda, investigative sources said July 2.
