Nikkei hits 11-month high, techs rise on domestic buying
TOKYO, Japan - A stock prices board at a securities company in central Tokyo shows the Nikkei Stock Average of the Tokyo Stock Exchange soaring 247.43 points to close July 7 trading at 9,795.16, its highest closing level since last Aug. 27. (Kyodo)
