UENO VILLAGE, Japan - A woman prays for the victims of the 1985 Japan Airlines (JAL) jumbo jet disaster at the foot of Mt. Osutaka in the village of Ueno, Gunma Prefecture, on Aug. 12, the 18th anniversary of the crash. The disaster killed 520 people and was the world's worst single-aircraft accident. (Kyodo)
