Mars coming closer to Earth
SAPPORO, Japan - The Mars, which is coming closer to the Earth for the first time in about 60,000 years, is seen lower left of the moon in a photo taken in Sapporo at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 13. The Mars will be about 55.8 million kilometers away from the Earth on Aug. 27. (Kyodo)
