1,100 S. Koreans use new overland route to visit N. Korea

SEOUL, Japan - A bus carrying South Koreans passes through a gate on the South Korean side of the Demilitarized Zone en route to Pyongyang via a new overland route through the DMZ on Oct. 6. Some 1,100 South Koreans used the route to attend a ceremony marking the opening of a gymnasium in Pyongyang. (Yonhap-Kyodo)
