Fujimori denies massacre charges, still covets presidency

TOKYO, Japan - Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori speaks during an exclusive interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Oct. 9. He issued a further denial of involvement in the disappearances and massacres that marked his rule from 1990 to 2000, and expressed his intention to run again for the presidency in 2006.
