People take to artificial ski slope at foot of Mt. Fuji

SUSONO, Japan - About 1,500 people visited Snow Town Yeti, a ski ground covered with artificial snow at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Oct. 25. The ground, 1,000 meters long and 20 meters wide, opened on Oct. 18 as the first ski ground opened in Japan this season. (Kyodo)
