9th mad cow case confirmed in Japan

TOKYO, Japan - An expert panel of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare meets at the ministry in Tokyo on Nov. 4 and confirms that a slaughtered 21-month-old cow in Hiroshima Prefecture had mad cow disease. The case is the ninth of its kind in Japan. (Kyodo)
