Japan to send troops to Iraq despite risk of attack
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Yukio Okamoto, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's top diplomatic adviser, says at a news conference at a Baghdad hotel Nov. 5 that Japan will send troops to Iraq as planned although Japanese military personnel and diplomats may be attacked by Iraqi insurgents. (Kyodo)
