Koyama becomes oldest person in Japan
FUKUOKA, Japan - Ura Koyama (file picture taken in February 1993), a 113-year-old resident of Iizuka in Fukuoka Prefecture, became the oldest person in Japan after Mitoyo Kawate, died Nov. 13 at the age of 114 in Hiroshima. Kawate had been recognized as the world's oldest person by the Guinness Book of Records. (Kyodo)
