TOKYO, Japan - The Walt Disney Co. launched the Disney Channel, a TV station exclusively for the company's entertainment programs, in a gala ceremony in Tokyo on Nov. 18. The U.S. entertainment and media giant provides three core patterns of programs aimed at preschool children, grade school and junior high school students, and families via satellite TV broadcaster Sky Perfect Communications Inc. and cable TV networks.
