Court cuts Nakao's jail term by 2 months

TOKYO, Japan - The Tokyo High Court on Nov. 21 reduced by two months a 24-month prison sentence given to former Construction Minister Eiichi Nakao (file photo) for taking 60 million yen in bribes from Wakachiku Construction Co. in 1996 in return for promising to favor it in public works bidding.
