Koizumi's aide Okamoto cancels trip to Iraq
NARITA, Japan - Yukio Okamato, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's top diplomatic adviser, is surrounded by reporters at Narita airport, northeast of Tokyo, on Nov. 30 before leaving for the Middle East. Okamoto, who will visit Iran and Syria, canceled his trip to Iraq following an ambush in which two Japanese diplomats in northern Iraq were killed on Nov. 29. (Kyodo)
