Masuoka extends Dakar lead
TOKYO, Japan - Two-time defending champion and race leader Hiroshi Masuoka of Japan puts more distance between himself and Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel on Jan. 7 when he won the 701-kilometer seventh stage of the Dakar Rally.
