S. Korea issues stamps featuring disputed Takeshima Island

SEOUL, South Korea - People in South Korea buy in Seoul on Jan. 16 postage stamps issued the same day featuring the disputed Takeshima Island, known as Tokto in South Korea, in the Sea of Japan. Japan lodged a protest over the stamp issuance. Both countries claim the island. (Kyodo)

                Squid season starts in northern Japan
