Arrest warrant sought for IOC's S. Korean vice president
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean prosecutors sought an arrest warrant Jan. 27 for suspended International Olympic Committee Vice President Kim Un Yong (in file photo) on suspicion of bribery, embezzlement and foreign currency law violation. The 72-year-old Kim is suspected of having embezzled funds amounting to about 4 billion won (about $2.16 million), donated by businesses to the World Taekwondo Federation and South Korea's taekwondo association.
