Japan gives conditional OK to Chinese heat-treated poultry
TOKYO, Japan - Representatives of the Chinese government (R) meet with Japanese farm officials at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Tokyo on Feb. 13 to discuss Chinese exports of poultry products to Japan. Japan agreed to the restart of imports of heat-treated poultry products from China on condition that Chinese processing plants clear hygiene norms to be specified by Japan. (Kyodo)
