(1)MSDF ship leaves Hiroshima to supply Japanese troops in Iraq

HIROSHIMA, Japan - Relatives of Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) members visit Kure port in Hiroshima Prefecture on Feb. 14 to see them off before the 8,900-ton MSDF transport ship Oosumi leaves the port to move supplies for Ground Self-Defense Force troops in Iraq. The vessel will pick up vehicles and equipment in Hokkaido before heading to Kuwait. (Kyodo)
