Ex-yokozuna Kagamisato dies at 80
TOKYO, Japan - Former yokozuna Kagamisato (file photo) died from blood poisoning at a Tokyo hospital on Feb. 29. He was 80. Kagamisato, whose real name was Kiyoji Okuyama, was promoted to sumo's top rank of grand champion in 1953. He won the Emperor's Cup four times but decided to bring his career to an end after failing to notch double-digit wins in the New Year meet in 1958. (Kyodo)
