Mine appointed ambassador to disarmament conference
TOKYO, Japan - The Japanese government appointed Yoshiki Mine ambassador to the Geneva-based Conference on Disarmament, replacing Kuniko Inoguchi, the Foreign Ministry said March 23. Mine, 60, has been ambassador in charge of global environmental affairs since March 2003. (Kyodo)
