Court orders Hitachi Metals to increase reward for magnet patent
TOKYO, Japan - Former Hitachi Metals Ltd. researcher Masao Iwata (L) speaks during a news conference in Tokyo on April 27 after the Tokyo High Court ordered Hitachi Metals earlier in the day to increase remuneration for Iwata to 12.6 million yen for inventing a method to make permanent magnets.
