OSAKA, Japan - A female plaintiff from Taiwan holds up a picture depicting abuses by the wartime Japanese imperial forces during a news conference in Osaka on May 13 after the Osaka District Court rejected a damages suit filed by 236 people, including 124 from Taiwan, over Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's visits to Yasukuni Shrine, where Japanese war dead, including Class-A war criminals, are enshrined.
