Giants' Kiyohara gets 2,000th career hit
TOKYO, Japan - Yomiuri Giants infielder Kazuhiro Kiyohara hits a single, the 2,000th hit in his career, to center off Yakult Swallows' starter Jason Beverlin in the first inning of a game at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo on June 4. Kiyohara became the 31st player in Japanese baseball history to accomplish the feat. (Kyodo)
