Toyota's Passo sees triple expected orders at 25,000
OSAKA, Japan - Executives of Toyota Motor Corp. and its affiliate Daihatsu Motor Co. pose in front of the new Passo compact car, the result of their first joint development project, in Osaka on July 8. Toyota said it has received about 25,000 orders for the car since its introduction in the domestic market a month ago, nearly 3.6 times the initial monthly sales target of 7,000. (Kyodo)
