(2)Japanese jailed for helping N. Koreans released, leaves China
NARITA, Japan - Takashi Noguchi (L) is welcomed by his mother Sumi at Narita airport, northeast of Tokyo, on Aug. 9 after arriving from the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China. Earlier in the day, Noguchi was released from a prison in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. Noguchi was sentenced to eight months in prison and fined 20,000 yuan (about 260,000 yen) on June 28 for helping North Koreans who entered China go to a third country. (Kyodo)
