Hosoda remains as chief cabinet secretary

TOKYO, Japan - Hiroyuki Hosoda, who retains his post as chief Cabinet secretary, announces a list of new Cabinet ministers at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Sept. 27. Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, who concurrently serves as president of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, reshuffled the LDP leadership and his Cabinet. (Kyodo)
