Sony starts accepting orders for new version of robot dog Aibo

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Marketing (Japan) Inc. said on Oct. 6 it has begun accepting orders online for a new version of the robot dog Aibo, the Aibo ERS-7M2 (photo), featuring software that allows it to be remotely controlled via a personal computer. The Aibo ERS-7M2 carries a suggested retail price of 194,250 yen. (Kyodo)

Sony-Honda venture unveils new EV prototype

Sony Honda Mobility Inc. unveils a prototype of the new Afeela electric vehicle to the media in Tokyo on Oct. 17, 2023. The joint venture of Honda Motor Co. and Sony Group Corp. will begin accepting orders in the first half of 2025 for delivery in the spring of 2026 in North America and by the end of 2026 in Japan.
