TOKYO, Japan - Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food Andy Mitchell (2nd from R) and Japanese Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Yoshinobu Shimamura (2nd from L) are in talks in Tokyo on Oct. 12. Mitchell called on Japan to apply to Canadian beef the same trade terms with U.S. beef once Tokyo and Washington agree on terms resuming imports of U.S. beef. (Kyodo)
