Former Japan striker Hasegawa named as new S-Pulse boss
SHIZUOKA, Japan - Shimizu S-Pulse on Dec. 9 named former S-Pulse and Japan international striker Kenta Hasegawa (in undated file photo) as the J-League first-division club's new manager for the 2005 season. Hasegawa, 39, joined Shimizu in 1992 and played for them for seven years, scoring 45 goals in 207 J-League appearances before bringing his playing career to an end in 1999. (Kyodo)
