Livedoor prepared for long haul to form alliance with Fuji
TOKYO, Japan - Livedoor Co. President Takafumi Horie speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Feb. 18. He said the company is prepared for a long haul to take control of Nippon Broadcasting System Inc. in a bid to form a business alliance with the Fujisankei media group. ''I don't know whether (Livedoor's bid to form the alliance with the Fujisankei group) will end within six months. It will likely take one to two years at the longest,'' Horie said. (Kyodo)
