Japan's therapeutic robot Paro (2)
TSUKUBA, Japan - The robotic seal ''Paro'' developed by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology based in Tsukuba city, Ibaraki Prefecture, will be displayed at the 2005 World Exposition at Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture. The Guinness World Records named Paro as the world's most soothing therapeutic robot in 2002. The photo was taken on Feb. 25, 2005. (Kyodo)
