Inspectors check ships for insurance at Yokohama port
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Inspectors from the transport ministry head for a foreign ship at Yokohama port on March 1 to check if it is covered by insurance against oil spills and other liabilities. Under a revised law, ships of 100 tons or more which are not covered by the insurance are banned from port calls in Japan. (Kyodo)
