A-bomb tragedy a lesson for all: U.S. senior official
HIROSHIMA, Japan - U.S. Assistant Secretary of Energy for Environment, Health and Safety John Shaw looks at an exhibit during a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum on March 9. He described the destructive results of nuclear weapons as ''a lesson for all generations.'' Shaw looked at exhibits on the U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 in World War II and laid flowers at the cenotaph for victims at the Peace Memorial Park. (Kyodo)
