Cherry trees start blooming in Tokyo
TOKYO, Japan - Cherry trees at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in Tokyo started blooming on March 31. The Meteorological Agency declared the same day that cherry trees started blooming in Tokyo, 13 days later than last year. The cherry trees in Tokyo are expected to be in full bloom a week later.
