Japanese cardinal hopes new pope will follow predecessor
TOKYO, Japan - Roman Catholic Cardinal Seiichi Shirayanagi (L), one of the two Japanese eligible to vote for a new pope, shakes hands with Pope John Paul II in a photo taken in 1991 at the Vatican.
