Tokyo venture firm to sell humanoid robot for household use
TOKYO, Japan - Photo released by robot developing venture firm ZMP Inc. on April 12 shows its humanoid robot ''nuvo'' which the company will start selling late April. ZMP said that the robot, the first launched for household use, can can walk and serve as a house sitter. The 39-centimeter-tall, 2.5-kilogram robot also features remote control technology and reacts to human voices. For instance, it stands up when someone says, ''Action.'' (Kyodo)
