Lower house to approve amended postal bills next Tues.
TOKYO, Japan - Former transport minister Takao Fujii is surrounded by journalists on June 29 after the ruling coalition parties agreed Wednesday to put a set of bills to privatize Japan Post to a vote in the House of Representatives on July 5. Kamei is known to be strongly opposed to the bills. Fujii is a member of an LDP group of lawmakers strongly opposed to the bills. (Kyodo)
