Koizumi, Aoki agree to seek Fri. vote on postal reform bills
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi smiles as he emerges from a meeting with with Mikio Aoki, head of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's caucus in the House of Councillors, in the Diet on Aug. 2. The two leaders agreed to seek to have the upper house plenary session vote on a set of postal privatization bills on Aug. 5. (Kyodo)
