Japan economy has emerged from lull: Aug. report
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi (2nd from R) speaks at a meeting of his economic ministers at his office on Aug. 9. The meeting endorsed a monthly report saying that Japan's economy has emerged from a lull running since last autumn.
