End of deflation may be in sight in FY 2006: gov't projection
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi preparing to attend a special Cabinet session at his office on Dec. 19. The Cabinet approved a report which said Japan may finally emerge from seven years of deflation in fiscal 2006 as two major price gauges are expected to rise from the previous year's levels. (Kyodo)
